Yes! All help is welcome in our NGO. We point out, however, that our actions in the field are composed of a small number of volunteers, prioritizing the participation of already trained professionals due to the needs of the actions.

Our actions are composed of very lean teams that predominantly have health professionals. There are also volunteers from areas such as logistics and communication. Everyone has a role in the team and we are very concerned to point out that our work on expeditions is based on voluntary work, and it is not an opportunity for “voluntourism”.

Vacancies are filled according to the specific demands of each expedition, so we prioritize volunteers who are more engaged with all the work that takes place beyond the expeditions and which is fundamental for the functioning of the NGO.

In our NGO we only work with unpaid volunteer work. Volunteers, in their registration, are asked about how they would like to contribute, usually in the area in which they already work or over which they have control, and are even asked to declare the number of hours per week they have available for volunteering.

We have several forms of partnership, ranging from supplying inputs to supporting sponsorship quotas. You can talk directly to our fundraising and institutional relations department at: contato@amdaf.org.
